Permit Conditions 2003 <br />Page 2 <br />C. Health and Safety <br />1. Adequate trash receptacles shall be provided by CVD. Accumulated litter and garbage <br />shall be removed on an as -needed basis. <br />2. hnmediately after the event all trash and litter shall be removed from the surrounding <br />areas including, but not limited to, Conejo Creek North, OakBrook Service Yard and the <br />School District property. <br />3. The entire turf area shall be hand raked and/or vacuumed to remove cigarette butts, <br />broken glass, tab tops, etc., in order to accommodate subsequent use. In addition to the <br />above, the entire turf area shall be dragged with a magnetic drag bar to remove small <br />pieces of metal. <br />4. An adequate number of portable toilets in direct ratio to crowd size shall be provided <br />and serviced daily to maintain a sanitary condition. <br />5._ Procedures shall be instituted to ensure that no waste water or other materials from <br />trailers, campers, or motor homes are deposited on the site. <br />6. In addition to those traffic control measures required by the City of Thousand Oaks, <br />CVD shall be responsible for providing a shuttle service between Conejo Creek North <br />and Conejo Creek South during peak use periods and for controlling traffic during setup <br />and takedown periods. <br />7.. Vehicles and equipment shall not be stored on the property prior to seven days before <br />the event. Due to the limited parking available this year, carnival vehicles and <br />equipment may be stored at the Oakbrook Service Yard located at Erbes Road and <br />Northpark Street between April 21 and May 9, 2004. -All equipment shall be <br />removed from District property within a maximum of seven days after the event. <br />Equipment left beyond seven days may be removed from the property by Conejo <br />Recreation and Park District at CVD's expense. <br />S.. Setup or teardown of equipment or functions shall not be permitted between 10 p.m. and <br />sunrise, except under emergency conditions. <br />9_. CVD and District representatives shall meet on site the day following the event to I <br />ascertain necessary cleanup and repair work to be performed. <br />D. Permits <br />1. All appropriate permits, including use of the District's portable stage, must be filed with <br />the District thirty days prior to the event. <br />2._ CVD shall institute permit procedures to control the temporary trailers and mobile <br />homes on the site. <br />
