Public Hearing to consider Adoption of Resolution No. 060117-A Resolution <br />Approving Engineer's Report, Confirming Diagram and Assessment and Ordering <br />Levy of Assessment for Fiscal Year 2017-18 (Districtwide Assessment AD 62-1) <br />It was moved by Jones, seconded by Holt, and carried 4-1 (Gibson voting No) to <br />adopt Resolution No. 060117-A approving the Engineer's Report, Confirming the <br />Diagram and Assessment and Ordering the Levy of Assessment for the Districtwide <br />Park Maintenance and Recreation improvement District (AD 62-1) that it be read in <br />title only and all further readings be waived. <br />C. Public Hearing to Consider Adoption of Resolution No. 060117-B Ordering the Levy <br />of the Annual Assessment for Landscape Maintenance District 92-1 (Rancho Conejo) <br />It was moved by Jones, seconded by Huffer, and carried 4-1 (Gibson voting No) to <br />adopt Resolution No. 060117-B Ordering the Levy of the Annual Assessment for <br />LMD 92-1 (Ranch Conejo), that it be read in title only and all further readings be <br />waived. <br />D. Public Hearing to Consider Adoption of Resolution No. 060117-C Ordering the Levy <br />of the Annual Assessment for Landscape Maintenance District 94-1 (Dos Vientos) <br />It was moved by Huffer, seconded by Holt, and carried 4-1 (Gibson voting No) to <br />adopt Resolution No. 060117-C Ordering the Levy of the Annual Assessment for <br />Landscape Maintenance District 944 (Dos Vientos), that it be read in title only and all <br />further readings be waived. <br />E. Adopt Resolution 060117-D Setting the Appropriation Amount Subject to Limitation <br />FY 2017-18 <br />Lewanda reported this adoption of the Gann limit is presented annually to the Board for <br />approval. <br />It was moved by Jones, seconded by Holt, and carried 5-0 to adopt Resolution <br />060117-D Setting the 2017-2018 Appropriation Subject to Limitation, that it be read in <br />title only and all further readings be waived. <br />F. Parks and Planning Division Personnel Action <br />Hare reported the District has been operating with only one Park Planner since a retirement <br />in 2015. Upon evaluation of the current work load, staff recommends reclassifying the <br />positon of Paris Planner to Sr. Park Planner, this would add additional costs which are <br />reflected in the current proposed budget. Discussion ensued regarding the necessity of an <br />item such as this being brought before the Board, given this is not a new position. Gibson <br />stated that such action could be delegated to Human Resources and the General Manager. <br />It was moved by Holt, seconded by Jones and carried " to reclassify the existing <br />Park Planner position (range 57) to Senior Park Planner (range 63). <br />
