DEFERRED MATTERS <br />Public Hearing Proposed Budget Fiscal 2017-201812018-2019 <br />Lange opened the Public Hearing. Lewanda referenced the staff memo, which highlights the <br />comments/suggestions made during the May 0 Board meeting, when the 10 Year Capital <br />Improvement Plan was presented. The plan is to bring the budget back to the Board on June 15`h <br />for final adoption. Lewanda answered Board member's questions. Lange closed the public <br />hearing. <br />8. ITEMS FOR DISCUSSION <br />9. NEW ITEMS <br />A. Agreement with Concerned Off -Road Bicyclists Association for Use of Bike <br />Areas at Sapwi Trails Community Park <br />Hare reported on the recently formed "CORBA Sapwi Trails Committee' and its intention to <br />support the development of bicycle- and trail -related amenities at Sapwi Trails Community <br />Park; District staff has been working with them for an extended amount of time, and <br />association members have provided dozens of volunteer hours in the planning and <br />development of the park. This agreement is similar in nature to the District's agreements <br />with the Thousand Oaks Soaring Society and the Conejo Disc Goff Club. <br />Steve Messer, Calabasas, spoke in favor of the agreement. <br />It was moved by Jones, seconded by Holt and carried 5-0 to authorize General <br />Manager to enter into an agreement with Concerned Off -Road Bicyclists Association <br />(CORBA.) <br />
