CONEJO RECREATION AND PARK DISTRICT <br />BOARD OF DIRECTORS SPECIAL MEETING <br />March 28, 2017 <br />7:00 PM <br />HILLCREST CENTER <br />MINUTES <br />1. CALL TO ORDER AND FLAG SALUTE <br />Lange called the meeting to order at 7:00 pm and McQueeney led the flag salute. <br />2. ROLL CALL <br />Directors Present: Gibson, Holt, Huffer, Jones, Lange <br />Directors Absent: <br />Staff Present: General Manager Friedl, Administrators Callis, Hare and Lewanda, <br />Executive Assistant Reynders and Park Planner Mooney <br />3. SPECIAL PRESENTATIONS <br />Employee Service Awards <br />Javier Cerda —10 Years <br />Antonio Ruvalcaba —10 Years <br />Hare introduced the recipients, presented overviews of each employee's professional and <br />academic accomplishments, and thanked them for their outstanding contributions to the <br />District. <br />Recipients thanked the Board, co-workers and families for their support, and expressed <br />appreciation for the award. <br />Directors congratulated and thanked recipients for their contributions and efforts on the <br />District's behalf. <br />4. ITEMS FROM THE PUBLIC <br />5. APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br />It was moved by Gibson, seconded by Jones, and carried 4-0 (Holt absent) to approve <br />the agenda as presented. <br />6.
