B. As additional consideration, (;KPU agrees to grant 40% of the costs, not to exceed $60,000, to CVUSC ("GRANT"). Payment is subject to CVUSC's completion and submittal to CRPD, and CRPD's subsequent approval, of documents required by this Agreement. C. Costs of the GRANT shall include all costs associated with the construction of the improvements, including but not limited to: additional design and development; inspections, construction, permit fees, and supplies to ensure the successful initial use of the improvements. 3. PAYMENT OF FUNDS. For the initial $70,000 of improvements: A. CVUSC shall submit evidence of completion of or portions of the IMPROVEMENTS to CRPD; CRPD shall pay CVUSC 40% the amount requested for each portion requested. For the improvements beyond $70,000 and up to $150,000: A. CVUSC shall submit evidence of completion of or portions of the IMPROVEMENTS to CRPD; CRPD shall pay CVUSC 100% the amount requested ("AMOUNT OVER $70,000") for each portion requested. B. CVUSC shall be responsible for 60% of the AMOUNT OVER $70,000. Upon completion of the project and when the final value of the AMOUNT OVER $70,000 is determined, CVUSC shall pay the CRPD the AMOUNT OVER $70,000 in annual installments of Ten Thousand Dollars ($10,000) until CVUSC's responsibility is completed. Each installment of Ten Thousand Dollars ($10,000) is due and payable to the CRPD by July 1st of each year. The first payment is due and payable to the CRPD by July 1st 2021. The final payment may be less than Ten Thousand Dollars ($10,000) if it satisfies and completes CVUSC's responsibility. 4. USE OF GRANT. Use of the GRANT will be subject to the express terms and conditions of this Agreement. 5. PERMITS AND LICENSES. CVUSC, or its designee, will obtain and maintain during the term of this Agreement, all appropriate permits and licenses, and certificates that may be required in connection with the performance of IMPROVEMENTS under this Agreement. 6. PROJECT COORDINATION AND SUPERVISION. CRPD's Parks and Planning Division will monitor the progress and execution of this Agreement. CRPD will designate a representative to provide supervision and have the overall responsibility for the progress and execution of this Agreement.
