Authorize General Manager to execute a license agreement, #9.6$12, with Southern <br />California Edison. <br />2. Authorize General Manager to enter into a grant agreement with City of Thousand Oaks. <br />DISCUSSION <br />Progress Update <br />Over the last several years, the District has made progress in the development of Sapwi Trails <br />Community Park. In December 2014, the Board approved resolutions adopting the environmental <br />analysis (prepared by FirstCarbon Solutions) and approving the project (reference item 9A of the <br />Board agenda at Irwvw.crpd.orglagenda920420 ). Furthermore, the District entered into <br />amendments to the contract with RRM Design Group (RRM) to carry the project through on-site <br />and off-site construction documents; additionally, the District entered into a contract with <br />FirstCarbon Solutions for Biological and Permitting Tasks Services. <br />Since December 2014, staff has been working with consultants, regulatory agencies, City of <br />Thousand Oaks staff, user groups (Thousand Oaks Soaring Society, Conejo Disc Golf Club, <br />Thousand Oaks Cross Country, bike enthusiasts), the general public, and neighbors in developing <br />a package suitable for bidding and construction of the major portions of the project (i.e. off- site <br />street and signal improvements, parking lots, restrooms, bridges, neighborhood park, etc.). <br />Progress to date has produced construction documents at the 90% level; several drawings that <br />highlight the efforts are attached (Exhibit 1) for reference. <br />ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICES <br />403 West Hilicrest Drive • Thousand Oaks, CA 91360-4223 <br />(805) 495-6471 • FAX: (805) 497-3199 • Email: parks@crpd.org • Website: www.crpd.org <br />
