Determine that the Old Meadows Park Meeting Room Renovation and Playground <br />Improvement Projects are categorically exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act <br />(CEQA). <br />2. Approve construction of meeting room renovation and playground at Old Meadows Park. <br />3. Appropriate $28,000 from Unassigned Fund Balance to Meeting Room Renovation Project <br />Account 62-802-851-80406-010. <br />4. Increase appropriation by $65,000 for donations to Playground Improvement Project Account <br />62-802-811-80406-009. <br />5. Waive minor irregularity in EJS Construction bid submittal. <br />6. Award bid to EJS Construction for $504,000 <br />totaling $545,150 for construction of meeting <br />at Old Meadows Park. <br />CEQA COMPLIANCE <br />Old Meadows Park Meeting Room Renovation <br />plus contingency in the amount of $41,150, <br />room renovation and playground improvement <br />For the Board consideration and approval, District staff believes the Old Meadows Park Meeting <br />Room Renovation Project qualifies for a Class 2 Categorical Exemption, pursuant to Section <br />15302 of the CEQA Guidelines.
