REPORTS AND ANNOUNCEMENTS <br />A. Goebel Senior Center Commission Meeting Minutes — September 2013 <br />Lange asked if the name will be changed from "Senior" to "Adult". Lindsey <br />said that the commission is a non-profit and that is the name of their <br />corporation. It will probably remain the same. <br />B. Activity Reports — July, August & September 2013 <br />Lange commented about pickleball becoming more popular and asked if <br />there are organized leagues. Lindsey stated that right now, it's just drop in <br />and play at Thousand Oaks Community Center. <br />Huffer was pleased with the increase in attendance at the summer concerts. <br />C. Parks Division Report <br />Hare announced that the ribbon cutting for the solar carports will be on <br />December 11th at 3:30 at Borchard Community Park. Invitations will be sent <br />out soon. <br />B. Recreation Division Report <br />Lindsey referenced the Recreation Highlights provided the Board. The <br />"Golden" Starlight Ball will be held on Saturday, December 7. <br />The Wildwood 511 OK & 1 -Mile Trail Run on Sunday, December 15. <br />C.
