Regarding <br />Assembly Bill 690, Gibson has signed a letter in opposition to this bill; Friedl will be <br />faxing it to legislators later this evening. <br />Last night the COSCA Board approved a final draft of their Strategic Plan. It will be <br />presented at their next Board meeting for approval. Friedl reminded Board members <br />about the upcoming event at the County Board of Supervisors on Tuesday, April 16th <br />r <br />Gibson reminded Board members about the 22nd Annual AWA Water Symposium <br />being held in Oxnard next Thursday, April 18th. Speakers include water experts from <br />around the county and state; Gibson is chairing the event. <br />F. Follow -Up Reports on Meet!ngs/Conferences Attended <br />Lange attended an MRCA meeting last week. At the MRCA meeting an MOU was <br />entered into with the Ventura County Watershed Protection District to work together <br />on various collaborative projects. Lange attended, as did Gibson and Jones, the <br />Conejo Connections Resource Center opening at the Oaks Mall on Tuesday. Lange, <br />Jones, and Friedl attended the VCDSA Dinner meeting Tuesday evening; Susan <br />Mulligan was the featured speaker. Jones went to a presentation made by Brenda <br />Coleman at Many Mansions regarding CRPD's 50h Anniversary. Jones also <br />participated in the work day at the Community Garden last Saturday. <br />Gibson attended the COSCA Board meeting last night.
