REPORTS AND ANNOUNCEMENTS <br />A. Budget Performance Report — January 2013 <br />B. Lang Ranch Community Park Meeting Update <br />Hare gave an update on the Lang Ranch Community meeting that took <br />place on February 21 as a follow-up to the previous four community <br />meetings. in general, the meeting went well. There were 45-50 people in <br />attendance. The Concept Plan was discussed with the group, specifically <br />the differences between the new Concept Plan and the one that the <br />community came up with in April 2012. After discussions with regulatory <br />agencies, the City of Thousand Oaks, and an environmental consultant, <br />minor changes were made, such as the elimination of the bike area behind <br />the dam and the addition of a parking lot off of Arboles. They also discussed <br />access to the parking lots. It was indicated to the group that we would take <br />the next step and send out a Request for Proposal (RFP). The RFP for <br />environmental analysis and construction drawing services went out on <br />February 27, to which there have been a few responses. Due to the amount <br />of detail in the RFP, we have a 60 -day window for people to respond. Hare <br />then answered questions from Lange, Jones, and Gibson regarding parking <br />lot locations, capacity (unknown at this time), traffic flow, and the RFP <br />11. DEPARTMENT REPORTS <br />A. Parks Division Report <br />Hare said snack shack at CCS passed a health inspection. Preliminary fire <br />inspection is coming on March 1. There are a few more inspections to go. <br />We're on target for AYSO's tournament on March 9. Lange asked about <br />additional landscaping, which will have to wait until the refurbishment period, <br />starting about mid-June. <br />
