Approve and adopt the revised CRPD salary schedule. DISCUSSION When the CLU Pool was opened in 2009, the District hired a full-time Aquatics Program Director. The director's responsibilities included managing the CLU Pool year -around and Newbury Park and Thousand Oaks High School pools during the summer. The position was funded at the coordinator level and reports to the Sports Supervisor. Since the opening in 2009, the Aquatics Program has experienced tremendous growth. Revenue for the program in fiscal year 2008/2009 was $354,253 and revenue in 2012/2013 was $562,437, and this year revenue is estimated to be $572,000. When the CLU Pool opened in 2009/2010, expenditures increased from $387,178 to $609,711. Through good management of resources, the current Aquatics Director has reduced expenditures from a high of $612,960 in 2010/2011, to a projected $560,000 in 2013/2014. These significant changes in revenue and expenditures have resulted in an increase in the responsibilities beyond the scope of coordinator position.
