Proposed First Amendment to Option and Lease Agreement with T-Mobile
West, LLC, for Modification of Existing Wireless Facility at Dos Vientos
Community Park

Hare reported that in 2012 the Board approved a lease agreement with T-Mobile for
construction of a wireless facility at Dos Vientos Community Park. The agreement
included a capital contribution from T-Mobile of $250,000, in exchange for rent
abatement for seven years. The contribution was used to offset development costs
at Del Prado Playfield. T-Mobile has contacted the District; they want to upgrade
the facility by replacing three of the existing antennas with three tower mounted
amplifiers. This change will result in an additional $150 per month with the start of
construction . This revision requires an amendment to the existing agreement.

It was moved by Lange, seconded by Holt, and carried 4-0 to authorize the
General Manager to execute an amendment to the Option and Lease
Agreement between T-Mobile West, LLC and the District that will enable T-
Mobile West, LLC to implement modifications to the wireless facility at Dos
Vientos Community Park.

D.
