Project Financial Status <br />Thousand Oaks Community Park Restroom and Storage Building <br />In April 2016, the Board approved an Amendment to the District's Memorandum of <br />Understanding (MOU) with Conejo Valley United Soccer Club (CVUSC), which updated <br />CVUSC's permitted use of District fields, extended the term of the MOU until June 2024, and <br />provided $50,000 from CVUSC towards the Thousand Oaks Community Park Restroom and <br />Storage Building Project. Completing the project as noted will provide the final phase of work for the <br />neighborhood park development. <br />At the April 2016 Board retreat, the Board discussed utilizing up to $2,000,000 of Unassigned <br />Fund Balance towards future capital projects. As a result, staff is recommending appropriating <br />$375,000 of the approximate remaining $725,000 towards this project, leaving a balance of <br />approximately $350,000 in Unassigned Fund Balance for future capital projects. <br />
