Minutes 9-28-1.5 <br />Page 5 <br />7. <br />8. <br />I. Publicity Committee <br />Blum noted publicity ads for upcoming events, which are coordinated with <br />bingo, are scheduled and in place. He said the committee discussed <br />putting together an end of year recap advertisement of Goebel Center <br />events in the Acorn. <br />J. Bus Trips <br />No Report. <br />Staff Reports <br />A. Attendance Reports <br />Hamm referenced the documentation. <br />correct with 15,051 in attendance at <br />August. <br />B. Past & Upcoming Program Report <br />She said the totals in the report are <br />780 meetings/events in the month of <br />Hamm referenced documentation of past programs, and gave an update on <br />current and upcoming programs. She noted that 140 seniors attended the first <br />ever center September Sock Hop. She suggested that yearly, a new and <br />different theme be developed for an annual September center event. <br />Hamm reported that she lead nine seniors on a Pok6mon GO "hunt" through the <br />center grounds and adjacent park on September 19. <br />C. Trip Program Report <br />Hamm reported $182.90 revenue from three trips conducted in August. <br />Additionally, she gave an update of enrollment status of future trips. <br />ITEMS FOR DISCUSSION <br />A. Commission Concerns/Comments <br />Martinich noted the need to correct/remove a past commissioner from the <br />GSCC information box on the October Goebel Gazette newsletter. <br />
