Holt, Director
Chuck Huffer, Director
GENERAL MANAGER EMERITUS
Tex Ward
LLC at Thousand Oaks
Authorize General Manager to grant a utility easement to Park Vista ALC, LLC for storm
water line at Thousand Oaks Community Park
DISCUSSION
Park Vista ALC, LLC, owner of the vacant lot adjacent to the Korean Presbyterian
Church on Moorpark Road, has received approval to build four (4) new homes
immediately north of Thousand Oaks Community Park. With development, Park Vista
ALC, LLC must provide a means of diverting storm water runoff away from the project
site. They are requesting a utility easement on park property to connect to the existing
flood control channel running along the north side of the park (see accompanying aerial
exhibit). The requested easement is 10 feet wide by 15.39 feet long. Park Vista ALC,
LLC will be responsible for construction and the on-going maintenance of the new
drainage structure.
The easement, if approved, will be memorialized with a Utility Easement Deed recorded
at the County Recorders' Office. Obligations connected with the facility will run with the
land thus passing maintenance responsibilities on to successors in the event of a
change in ownership.
403 West Hillcrest Drive I Thousand Oaks, CA 91360-4223
(805) 495-6471 FAX: (805) 497-3199 Email: parks@crpd.org
