Financial Report Year-end Fiscal Year 2015/2016
Basilio reported that Cleary compiled a year-end Bingo report for
fiscal year 201512016. She referenced the report of the fiscal year
figures: total gross register receipts were $364,698, expenses of
$273,287, and a net of $91,411; total gross of Tabs/Quickies was
$219,487, expenses were $140,926, and a net revenue of $78,561;
the combined net revenue totaled $169,972.
Smith distributed a graph of the Bingo gross and net earnings of the
past six years. All were impressed!
H. Programs Committee
1. General Report -Committee Meeting Minutes of August 2, 2016
Bengtson reported that the committee reviewed the History Comes
Alive program that featured Kiki Ebsen noting that it was very
successful with 290 attendees.
Bengtson also reported the sold -out Raymond Michael tribute to
Tom Jones and Engelbert Humperdinck Music Comes Alive program
had 200 in attendance and that there were a number of no-shows of
season ticket holders. Discussion ensued regarding the change in
program and that it may have been the reason for program ticket
holders not attending. Also it was discussed that instead of "sold -out"
signage being used, that "stand-by" or "wait list" be implemented for
last minute ticket availability.
Bengtson noted the October History Comes Alive program will feature
Julie Tumamait who will present The Life and Times of the Chumash.
Martinich noted that all photos taken at events are available for
viewing on the center website. She asked that this information be
shared with patrons and suggested that perhaps it be included in the
MC's script. McAdam suggested a hand-out to patron of events
informing patrons of the website photo gallery. Coleman added that
the REACH monitor should be utilized to direct patrons to the photo
gallery on the unit website.
