APPROVAL OF MINUTES OF JULY 27, 2016 <br />Smith asked for a motion to approve the minutes of the July meeting. <br />It was moved by Norkin, seconded by Martinich, and passed <br />unanimously, to approve the minutes of the July meeting as presented. <br />5. OLD AND NEW BUSINESS <br />A. Committee Assignments — Discussion <br />Smith reviewed and confirmed the 2016/2017 Commission committee <br />assignments. <br />B. Main Hall Stage Lights <br />McAdam reported that four vendors have submitted bids for the main hall <br />stage lighting and that they have been reviewed by staff. He said the bids <br />varied by equipment and services. He noted that staff determined a second <br />bid from each vendor will be required, one that reflects equipment and <br />services equivalent to each other. He said once the new "like" bids have <br />been received, staff will compile the information and bring it to the <br />Commission for their review and approval. <br />6.
