General Manager's Report Friedl referenced the email he sent to Board members yesterday. CSDA is seeking nominations for their Board of Directors for a 2015-2017 term. Any interested Board members should advise Friedl as soon as possible. The ribbon cutting for the new shade sail structures at Conejo Creek North is scheduled for Saturday, March 29th at 11:00 am. E. Directors' Reports Gibson announced the upcoming AWAVC Water Symposium will be held on Thursday, April 24th from 8:00 am — 1:30 pm in Oxnard. F. Follow -Up Reports on Meetings/Conferences Attended Gibson reported on his attendance at the Sister City Luncheon on February 24th. It was a fantastic event. Lange attended the MRCA Junior Naturalist Graduation Ceremony for Wetlands, which was held in Playa del Rey. He also attended the 50th Anniversary of the Conejo Valley Historical Society/Stagecoach Inn. He attended the Santa Monica Mountains Conservancy meeting a week ago Monday; it included a field trip to the proposed site of the wildlife freeway overpass at Liberty Canyon and the 101. Caltrans and SMMC are collaborating on this project. The MRCA contributed $200,000 to Caltrans to fund a study. Jones and Lange both attended last Saturday's "Youth Commission Congress" at the Thousand Oaks Library; Lange will send comments to staff as soon as he has compiled a report. Jones seconded Lange's comments on the Youth Commission Congress; he was very impressed with the youth and their focus and interest on community involvement.
