On Friday, March 14t , the annual Therapeutics Family Bingo and Pie <br />Auction will be held at the Goebel Adult Community Center. On Monday, March <br />17th, there will be a Leprechaun's Lucky Gold Hunt at the Thousand Oaks <br />Community Center. <br />C. Management Services Division Report <br />No report. <br />D. General Manager's Report <br />Friedl referenced the email he sent to Board members yesterday. CSDA is seeking <br />nominations for their Board of Directors for a 2015-2017 term. Any interested <br />Board members should advise Friedl as soon as possible. The ribbon cutting for <br />the new shade sail structures at Conejo Creek North is scheduled for Saturday, <br />March 29th at 11:00 am. <br />E. Directors' Reports <br />Gibson announced the upcoming AWAVC Water Symposium will be held on <br />Thursday, April 24th from 8:00 am — 1:30 pm in Oxnard. <br />F. Follow -Up Reports on Meetings/Conferences Attended <br />Gibson reported on his attendance at the Sister City Luncheon on February 24th. It <br />was a fantastic event. <br />Lange attended the MRCA Junior Naturalist Graduation Ceremony for Wetlands, <br />which was held in Playa del Rey. He also attended the 50th Anniversary of the <br />Conejo Valley Historical Society/Stagecoach Inn. He attended the Santa Monica <br />Mountains Conservancy meeting a week ago Monday; it included a field trip to the <br />proposed site of the wildlife freeway overpass at Liberty Canyon and the 101. <br />Caltrans and SMMC are collaborating on this project. The MRCA contributed <br />$200,000 to Caltrans to fund a study. <br />Jones and Lange both attended last Saturday's "Youth Commission Congress" at <br />the Thousand Oaks Library; Lange will send comments to staff as soon as he has <br />compiled a report. <br />Jones seconded Lange's comments on the Youth Commission Congress; he was <br />very impressed with the youth and their focus and interest on community <br />involvement.
