Minutes 5-25-16 <br />Page 5 <br />B. Past & Upcoming Program Report <br />Hamm referenced documentation of past programs, and gave an update on <br />current and upcoming programs. She noted the Cinco de Mayo Celebration <br />attendance of 140; that the Mother's Day International Tea was sold out with 80 <br />seniors and their families; and the Transportation Expo had 52 participants. <br />Hamm reported that Commission President, Jim Seerden is a nominee for the <br />City of Thousand Oaks' Council on Aging Senior of the Year. The awards <br />ceremony will take place Thursday, June 2 at GACC. <br />C. Trip Program Report <br />Hamm reported $1,259 revenue from two trips conducted in April. Additionally, <br />she gave an update of enrollment status of future trips. <br />8. ITEMS FOR DISCUSSION <br />A. Commission Concerns/Comments <br />Bengtson noted that Ivor Davis will present a program at the Thousand Oaks <br />Library. Ivor previously spoke at the GSCC History Comes Alive program. <br />Toyen noted a job well done by Goebel staff member, Josh Meyer, with the <br />Music Comes Alive brochures. <br />B.
