Minutes 2-25-15 <br />Page 2 <br />3. PUBLIC DISCUSSION <br />Seerden welcomed Barbara Henderson to the meeting. <br />4. APPROVAL OF MINUTES OF JANUARY 28, 2015 <br />Seerden asked for a motion to approve the minutes of the January meeting. <br />It was moved by Norkin, seconded by Cleary and passed 13 to 0 with <br />one abstention to approve the January Meeting Minutes as presented. <br />5. OLD AND NEW BUSINESS <br />A. 2014/2015 California Form 700 - Collection <br />Seerden inquired whether all Commissioners had submitted their Form 700. <br />B. Appoint Ad Hoc Commission Applicant Review Committee <br />Seerden reported that the Commission applicant interviews will be <br />conducted Wednesday, March 11. He explained what the committee <br />responsibilities involve and appointed Smith as chair, Basilio and Martinich <br />to the Ad Hoc Applicant Review Committee. Smith, Basilio and Martinich <br />agreed to serve on the committee. Seerden also noted that at present, there <br />are nine applicants, including the five incumbents. <br />Coleman, in response to Seerden, said that applications to the Commission <br />will be accepted until 5:OOpm, Friday, February 27. <br />Seerden confirmed with staff the availability of a meeting room for the <br />interviews and requested additional staff support for related tasks. <br />C. Commission Committees Review/Update <br />Seerden noted the need for realignment of the Programs Standing <br />Committee. Additionally, he announced the resignation of Commissioner <br />Bob Grundstrom and said those committees that Grundstrom served on <br />needed to be realigned as well. <br />Discussion of Standing Committee assignments ensued and assignments <br />to the committees were made. <br />
