General Manager's Report <br />Ward reported that the COSCA meeting will be held September 10, 6:30 <br />p.m . and the Hill Canyon Executive Committee meeting the same day in <br />the afternoon; referenced Mr. Adair's Board photos, for consensus of the <br />Board; noted a memo regarding golf course names and requested input; <br />attended the Calamigos Ranch workshop regarding the Santa Monica <br />Mountains National Recreation comprehensive plan update; a letter <br />was sent indicating the Board's unavailability to participate in a meeting <br />regarding family issues scheduled for September 18. <br />E. Directors' Reports <br />Lange attended the VCSD meeting on Tuesday regarding next year's <br />goals, and VCSD will have a booth at Ventura Fair with information on <br />Special Districts and CRPD. He and Gillette reported on the Dog Park <br />tour in Laguna Beach. Lange had conversation with Mayor Lazar at the <br />Concert in the Park regarding recognition of the Thousand Oaks Star in <br />the program, and Jacobsen clarified that The Star, being the major <br />contributor, was the reason that they were acknowledged. <br />Jacobsen mentioned that the KNX radio station's recipient of the Citizen <br />of the Week award was Rozina Cipko. <br />12.
