Approval Of City And District Expenditure Budget For COSCA
Jacobsen declared the public hearing open and, as no one was in
attendance who wished to address the Board, the public hearing was
closed.
Ward identified the two recommendations before the Board, and
stated that staff is cautiously optimistic about a slight revenue
enhancement, and the budget is balanced, in part, through carryover
savings from last year. He thanked the administrators and staff for
their fiscal responsibility and budgetary efforts, stated staff
recommendation to adopt the budget, and invited questions.
In response to Jacobsen's inquiries, staff indicated that Board
participation and review would be sought for the Borchard Park
parking lot renovation, the play equipment at both Wildwood
Neighborhood Park and Old Meadows Park will be upgraded, and
there is no five year projection for the COSCA budget and expenses.
