CONEJO RECREATION AND PARK DISTRICT <br />BOARD OF DIRECTORS REGULAR MEETING <br />JULY 24, 1997 <br />7:30 P.M. <br />GOEBEL SENIOR ADULT CENTER <br />MINUTES <br />1. CALL TO ORDER AND FLAG SALUTE <br />Chair Jacobsen called the meeting to order at 7:36 p.m. and Berger led the flag <br />salute. <br />2. ROLL CALL <br />Directors Present: Berger, Holt, Jacobsen, and Lange <br />Directors Absent: Gillette <br />Staff Present: General Manager Ward; Administrators Jorgensen, Sorensen, and <br />Washington; and Executive Secretary Ohren <br />3. SPECIAL PRESENTATIONS <br />Presentation Of Conejo Valley Historical Society Annual Report <br />Jerry Knotts, president of the Conejo Valley Historical Society, provided an <br />overview of the annual report, expressed appreciation to the District for its support, <br />noted the efforts of community volunteers, presented a $50 check to the District, <br />paid tribute to the exceptional relationship that exists between the District and the <br />Society, and answered questions. <br />Sandra Hildebrandt supplied additional information about Society events, displays, <br />and programs. <br />Board members expressed appreciation to Knotts, the Society and its volunteers, <br />and thanked Knotts for the check. <br />4.
