CONEJO RECREATION AND PARK DISTRICT <br />BOARD OF DIRECTORS REGULAR MEETING <br />APRIL 3,1997 <br />7:30 P.M. <br />GOEBEL SENIOR ADULT CENTER <br />MINUTES <br />1. CALL TO ORDER AND FLAG SALUTE <br />Vice -Chair Lange called the meeting to order at 7.50 p.m., and Ward led the flag <br />salute. <br />2. ROLL CALL <br />Directors Present: Berger, Gillette, Holt, and Lange <br />Directors Absent: Jacobsen <br />Staff Present: General Manager Ward, Administrators Jorgensen, Sorensen, and <br />Washington, and Execrative Secretary Ohren <br />3. SPECIAL PRESENTATIONS <br />4. ITEMS FROM THE PUBLIC <br />Nick Quidwai spoke in opposition to the District's possible partnership with the City <br />of Thousand Oaks relative to a possible bond issue, and in favor of such a <br />partnership with the School District. Additionally, he said he opposed the Hill <br />Canyon Recreational Resources Authority JPA (joint powers authority) with the City. <br />5. APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br />It was moved by Gillette, seconded by Holt, and carried unanimously, 4-0, to <br />approve the agenda as presented. <br />6. CONSENT CALENDAR <br />A. Minutes of March 20, 1997 Meeting <br />B. Warrants, Exhibits A - D, Total $227,070.95 <br />It was moved by Holt, seconded by Berger, and carried unanimously, 4- <br />0, to approve the Consent Calendar as presented. <br />
