CONEJO RECREATION AND PARK DISTRICT <br />BOARD OF DIRECTORS REGULAR MEETING <br />MARCH 20,1997 <br />7:30 P.M. <br />GOEBEL SENIOR ADULT CENTER <br />MINUTES <br />CALL TO ORDER AND FLAG SALUTE <br />Chair Jacobsen called the meeting to order at 7:35 p.m., and Berger led the flag <br />salute. <br />2. ROLL CALL <br />Directors Present: Berger, Holt, Jacobsen, and Lange <br />Directors Absent: Gillette <br />Staff Present: General Manager Ward, Administrators Jorgensen and Washington, <br />Senior Grounds Supervisor Peterson, Supervising Park Ranger Tait, and Executive <br />Secretary Ohren <br />3. SPECIAL PRESENTATIONS <br />Presentation Of Employee Recognition Awards <br />Ward praised District employees and said that he was pleased to be able to <br />recognize them. On behalf of the Board and District, Ward presented awards to <br />CRPD employees for five, ten, fifteen, and twenty years of service to the District. <br />Peterson, Tait, and Washington presented an overview of each employee's <br />professional and academic achievements. <br />Bruce Kniola received an award for five years of service to the District, William <br />Palermo for ten years, Arlene Kranz and Robert Broderson for fifteen years, and <br />Mark Schrock for twenty years. <br />The Board expressed appreciation for the efforts and contributions of the employees <br />to the District and the community. The employees thanked the District and Board for <br />their support. <br />4. ITEMS FROM THE PUBLIC <br />
