Holt suggested that a decision <br />be made later in the year, based on information at that <br />time. Ward said that a determination could be made <br />later, and a meeting could be cancelled or rescheduled. <br />Lange said he concurred. <br />It was moved by Holt and seconded by Lange to adopt the <br />proposed Board of Directors' meeting schedule as <br />submitted, subject to amendments that may be necessary. <br />Gillette cautioned that a public agency's inability to <br />plan meetings a year in advance may be perceived by some <br />as unprofessional. <br />The motion carried unanimously. <br />In response to Jacobsen's suggestion that staff reexamine <br />the budget calendar, Jorgensen said that the impacts of <br />legislation, revenue information, and union negotiations <br />are frequently not known until later in the summer. <br />Gillette summarized that no request was made to reexamine <br />the budget calendar or Board schedule at this time. <br />9.
