1 <br />2 <br />CONEJO RECREATION AND PARK DISTRICT <br />BOARD OF DIRECTORS REGULAR MEETING <br />JUNE 27, 1996 <br />6:30 P.M. <br />GOEBEL SENIOR ADULT CENTER <br />M I N U T E S <br />CALL TO ORDER AND FLAG SALUTE <br />Chair Gillette called the meeting to order at 6:44 p.m. <br />ROLL CALL <br />Directors Present: Berger, Gillette, Holt, Jacobsen, and <br />Lange <br />Berger arrived at 6:52 p.m. <br />Directors Absent: None <br />Staff Present: General Manager Ward; Administrators Jorgensen <br />and Washington; Senior Park Planner Gilmore, and Executive <br />Secretary Ohren <br />3. SPECIAL PRESENTATIONS <br />Study Session - Discussion Of Issues Relative To Conejo Creek <br />Park <br />Gillette welcomed attendees, explained the procedural process <br />to be observed, gave a brief overview of past relevant events <br />that led to the meeting, and stated that the purpose of the <br />meeting was to provide an opportunity for interested <br />homeowners, user groups, and the Board to meet and discuss <br />issues relative to Conejo Creek Park. <br />Joel Wyenn introduced coalition members, stated the goals of <br />the coalition, distributed correspondence to the Board, and <br />pledged long term support to create a workable plan for phased <br />park development. <br />It was determined that most attendees were not formal <br />representatives of homeowner associations, but interested <br />citizens willing to disseminate information to their neighbors <br />and interested associations. <br />
