Minutes 5-16-96 <br />Page 3 <br />Sorensen stated that clarification of the construction <br />schedule and the number of lots to be assessed were <br />received from Operating Engineers, and he noted an <br />additional change that will be reflected in the final <br />Engineer's Report; i.e., the dedication of 123.78 acres <br />of open space. He noted the presence of Richard Hostin <br />of Operating Engineers and James Grisham of Willdan. <br />Ward stated that no cards were submitted nor testimony <br />given, either in favor of, or in opposition to the <br />proceedings, and the process would continue on June 13, <br />1996, 7:30 p.m. at the same location. <br />Gillette declared the public hearing open. As no one was <br />in attendance who wished to address the Board, the public <br />hearing was continued to the next regular meeting on June <br />13. <br />It was moved by Lange, seconded by Berger, and carried <br />unanimously to accept the continuance of the public <br />hearing until June 13, 1996. <br />In response to Jacobsen's inquiry, Sorensen identified <br />the location of park site C. <br />Grisham clarified that the title of Superintendent of <br />Streets conferred on Sorensen technically satisfies the <br />assessment district statutes and identifies the person <br />responsible for overseeing the assessment district. <br />8. NEW ITEMS <br />A. Request By City Of Agoura Hills For Use Of Mobile Stage <br />Washington stated that Board approval is needed for out - <br />of -district use of the mobile stage, Agoura Hills used <br />the stage last year, no problems arose, there is no <br />scheduling conflict with the dates requested, and the <br />rental fee is approximately $850, which includes out -of - <br />district rates. <br />In response to Lange's inquiries, Washington said that <br />the request would include four round trips to Agoura, the <br />distance is short, the trips would be conducted in a safe <br />manner, and the stage, like all District equipment, is <br />monitored regularly. <br />
