CONEJO RECREATION AND PARK DISTRICT <br />BOARD OF DIRECTORS REGULAR MEETING <br />MAY 16, 1996 <br />7:30 P.M. <br />GOEBEL SENIOR ADULT CENTER <br />M I N U T E S <br />i• CALL TO ORDER AND FLAG SALUTE <br />Chair Gillette called the meeting to order at 7:34 p.m., and <br />led the flag salute. <br />2. ROLL CALL <br />Directors Present: Berger, Gillette, Holt, Jacobsen, and <br />Lange <br />Berger arrived at 7:37 p.m. <br />Directors Absent: None <br />Staff Present: General Manager Ward, Administrators Sorensen <br />and Washington, Recreation Managers Lindsey and Wiley, Senior <br />Grounds Supervisor Peterson, Grounds Crew Leader Aronson, <br />Personnel Supervisor Bluhm, Grounds Supervisor Rojo, and <br />Executive Secretary Ohren <br />3• SPECIAL PRESENTATIONS <br />Presentation Of Employee Service Awards <br />Ward praised District employees, and said that he was pleased <br />to recognize them. On behalf of the Board and District, Ward <br />presented service awards to CRPD employees for five, ten, and <br />twenty years of service to the District. <br />Michael Maunu and Craig Welling received awards for five <br />years' service; Scott Buchanan, Scott Engel, Dana Miller, and <br />John Ports for ten years; and Renee Muro for twenty years. <br />An overview of each employee's achievements was presented. <br />The Board expressed its appreciation for their professionalism <br />and contributions to the District and the community. The <br />employees thanked the District and Board for their support. <br />Gillette recessed the meeting at 8:05 p.m. and reconvened at <br />8:13 p.m. <br />
