Minutes 4-18-96 <br />Page 4 <br />Referencing the Safety Element, Sorensen stated that <br />staff has identified Borchard Community Center and the <br />corporate yard as critical facilities, and this will be <br />included in staff recommendations to the City, if <br />approved by the Board. <br />It was moved by Holt, seconded by Lange, and carried <br />unanimously to endorse staff recommendations, relative <br />to the review of the three elements, as submitted in the <br />staff report and modified; i.e., the identification of <br />Borchard Community Center and the corporate yard as <br />critical facilities; and further, recommendations to be <br />forwarded to the City for inclusion in the three <br />elements. <br />Gillette praised the quality of the report, and thanked <br />Towne for his presentation. <br />Towne said that the report, including recommendations of <br />the CRPD Board and COSCA Board, would be presented to the <br />Planning Commission May 13. He said that the District <br />will be represented, and recommendation sources will be <br />identified. <br />B. Authorization To Approve Contract For The Provision Of <br />A Summer Recreation Program For City Of Westlake Village <br />Washington stated that the program has been conducted for <br />nine years, the agreement has been reviewed and approved <br />by the Westlake Village City Council, the program is <br />similar to last year's, except for program length, and <br />he noted the recommendation. <br />It was moved by Holt, seconded by Berger, and carried <br />unanimously to authorize the General Manager to execute <br />the agreement between the City of Westlake Village and <br />the District for provision of an afternoon summer <br />recreation program on a reimbursed cost basis. <br />
