The
Chair reiterated that there is no intent to limit public
debate; no Board action will be taken before March 7; and the
current meeting was not a public hearing on the Sport X
complex, although the public is always invited. and welcome to
speak on any issue of concern during the public portion of the
agenda. He identified the date, time, and location of the
March 7 Board meeting.
Ward said that: every Board meeting has two opportunities for
public comment; it was felt that, because the employee awards'
ceremony was already scheduled for the current meeting, the
March 7 agenda would better accommodate the public discussion
with less public inconvenience; no Sport X project has been
submitted or is currently being evaluated, and the District
is always anxious to hear from its constituents.
