November 19, 1998 <br />Page 4 <br />and agreement would require the homeowner to carry out weed abatement, <br />provide the District with legal liability protection, and ensure the homeowner <br />is responsible for fire control work and any associated costs. <br />In response to Board inquiries, Sorensen said that annual fees are typically <br />not charged for easements of this type, there will be no visual <br />encroachment to the park, the property owner has been kept informed, and <br />it is staff intent to transfer all allied costs to the property owner. <br />It was moved by Gillette, seconded by Berger, and carried 5-0 to <br />authorize an easement deed on Triunfo Community Park with William <br />and Diane Locklear of 1014 Brookview Avenue for the purpose of <br />maintaining any necessary fire control measures on park property to <br />protect added wooden structures at the subject residence. <br />9.
