Administration Division Report <br />In response to Berger's inquiry, Jorgensen said that a new website designer <br />has been engaged, staff has identified priorities, work has begun, and project <br />completion is expected within four to six weeks. <br />In response to Lange's inquiry, Jorgensen said that complete on-line <br />registration will not be achieved due to the unique needs of the Recreation <br />Division. <br />D. General Manager's Report <br />Ward reported that Dick Richardson, United Water Conservation District, has <br />been elected as the new Alternate Special District Member to the Local <br />Agency Formation Commission (LAFCO); and the City and District hosted a <br />recent meeting to discuss the current Arts Council building and the possible <br />relocation of the district offices to the 401 W. Hillcrest building. He noted the <br />upcoming La Fiesta del Triunfo Ball and early bird registration for the 2001 <br />CPRS Conference. <br />In response to Holt's inquiry, Ward said that, as a first step in developing a <br />community survey, Shilts Consultants, Inc. has submitted a proposal. Gibson <br />asked that the Board be provided clarification of the process. <br />E. Directors' Reports <br />In response to Holfs inquiry, Berger explained that a decision about the need <br />for August Board meetings has not yet been made. <br />Berger said that, due to a scheduling conflict he would be unable to attend <br />the dedication of the Heritage Park, and Gibson said that as Vice Chair he <br />would represent the Board. Holt said that she also plans to attend. <br />
