Approval of Modified Conditions For Underground Utility Cabinets At <br />Conejo Creek North Park And Thousand Oaks Community Park <br />Sorensen noted the City of Thousand Oaks' new requirements relative to <br />underground placement of wireless communication system utility cabinets, <br />and he explained that the requirements are retroactive for the cabinet at <br />Thousand Oaks Community Park, and the impending placement at Conejo <br />Creek North Park. <br />In response to Board inquiries, Sorensen said that the new requirements <br />will be the community wide standard, access to the vaults will be secured, <br />the sites will be fully landscaped, and there are no safety concerns. <br />It was moved by Holt, seconded by Jacobson, and carried 4-0, to <br />approve the modifications of site lease agreements at both Conejo <br />Creek North Park and Thousand Oaks Community Park to be <br />consistent with new City of Thousand Oaks conditions of these <br />projects. <br />D. Consideration Of Appointments To The Goebel Senior Center <br />Commission <br />Ward synopsized the appointments process, the March 22 election, <br />Commission vacancies, incumbents, and candidates. <br />Lange said he was impressed with the qualifications of the candidates. <br />It was moved by Lange, seconded by Holt, and carried 4-0 to appoint <br />Robert Evans, Helen Milligan, Samuel Rosen, Richard Westland, and <br />Jane Zimmerman to three-year terms, effective July_ 1, 2000, to the <br />Goebel Senior Center Commission. <br />9. ITEMS FOR DISCUSSION <br />A. Board Of Directors Workshop <br />Ward reviewed the February 25-26 workshop and said that the issues and <br />concerns identified would be used to guide staff in its preparation of the <br />budget and various work programs associated with implementation of the <br />desired outcomes that were identified.
