Recreation Division Report <br />Wiley reported that spring 2000 mail -in registration has concluded, 1,600 <br />registrations were received and processed, 30 percent were generated via <br />the internet, and programs begin next week. <br />C. Administration Division Report <br />No report. <br />D. General Manager's Report <br />Ward noted that VCSDA (Ventura County Special Districts Association) <br />Annual Dinner Meeting is scheduled for March 30 in Oxnard, Liz Benton will <br />assume the responsibilities of Recreation and Community Services <br />Administrator on March 27, and meetings have been held to discuss the <br />proposed Newbury Park teen center and possible uses of the former city <br />hall at 401 E. Hillcrest. <br />E. Directors' Reports <br />Holt said that the recent CPRS conference validated the District's <br />excellence in serving the community, and she praised the cooperative <br />efforts of the District, other community agencies, and community at large. <br />Board members and Ward concurred. <br />12.
