General Manager's Report <br />Ward reported on a recent court case involving the County of Sonoma <br />versus the State of California, relative to the tax shift, and he said it is <br />hoped that the case will have a positive impact on the forthcoming <br />legislative session. <br />C. Administration Division Report <br />Jorgensen reported that February 25 and 26 have been identified as the <br />most likely dates for the goal setting session, and he asked for final <br />confirmation of availability. <br />In response to Lange's inquiry, Jorgensen said that he will continue to follow <br />up on the District's Internet provider. <br />E. Directors' Reports <br />Lange highlighted the recent acquisition and dedication of a five -acre site <br />near Liberty Canyon by the Santa Monica Mountains Conservancy, and he <br />discussed its importance to area wildlife. <br />Holt noted the opportunity for nominations for CARPD (California <br />Association of Recreation and Park Districts) awards, and Sorensen stated <br />that the CPRS (California Park and Recreation Society) Conference is <br />scheduled for March 15-18 in Ontario, California. <br />12.
