CONEJO RECREATION AND PARK DISTRICT <br />BOARD OF DIRECTORS REGULAR MEETING <br />SEPTEMBER 2, 1999 <br />7:30 P.M. <br />GOEBEL SENIOR ADULT CENTER <br />MINUTES <br />1. CALL TO ORDER AND FLAG SALUTE <br />Chair Holt called the meeting to order at 7:31 p.m., and Lange led the flag salute. <br />2. ROLL CALL <br />Directors Present: Berger, Gibson, Holt, Jacobsen, and Lange <br />Jacobsen arrived at 7:34 p.m. <br />Directors Absent: None <br />Staff Present: General Manager Ward, Administrators Jorgensen, Sorensen, and <br />Washington, Recreation Manager Lindsey, Park Maintenance Superintendent <br />Marchesano, Senior Grounds Supervisor Peterson, Human Resources Supervisor <br />Bluhm, and Executive Secretary Ohren <br />3. SPECIAL PRESENTATIONS <br />Employee Recognition Awards <br />Oh behalf of the Board and District, Ward presented awards to CRPD employees <br />for 25, 20, 15, and 10 -years of service to the District. An overview of each <br />employee's professional and academic achievements was presented. <br />The Board acknowledged and commended the employees for their efforts and <br />contributions to the District and community. The employees thanked District staff, <br />management, and Board members for their support. <br />Robert Barrett received an award for 25 years of service to the District, Brenda <br />Coleman and Richard Tucker for 15 years, and Jay Dodwell, David Jorgensen, <br />and David Gundy for 10 years. <br />The meeting was recessed at 8:00 p.m. and reconvened at 8:10 p.m. <br />
