CONEJO RECREATION AND PARK DISTRICT <br />BOARD OF DIRECTORS REGULAR MEETING <br />JULY 22, 1999 <br />7:30 P.M. <br />GOEBEL SENIOR ADULT CENTER <br />MINUTES <br />1. CALL TO ORDER AND FLAG SALUTE <br />Chair Holt called the meeting to order at 7:32 p.m., and Gibson led the flag salute. <br />2. ROLL CALL <br />Directors Present: Berger, Gibson, Holt, Jacobsen, and Lange <br />Directors Absent: None <br />Staff Present: General Manager Ward, Administrators Jorgensen, Sorensen, and <br />Washington, and Executive Secretary Ohren <br />3. SPECIAL PRESENTATIONS <br />4. ITEMS FROM THE PUBLIC <br />Paul Nicholson spoke in opposition to the development of Hill Canyon, citing <br />environmental and financial concerns, and urged that the issue be put to a public <br />vote. He identified other planned and operational golf courses in the area. <br />5. APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br />It was moved by Berger, seconded by Lange, and carried 5-0, to approve the <br />agenda as presented. <br />6. CONSENT CALENDAR <br />A. Minutes of July 8, 1999 Meeting <br />B. Warrants, Exhibits A - D, Total $543,217.27 <br />It was moved by Gibson, seconded by Jacobsen, and carried 5-0, to <br />approve the Consent Calendar as presented. <br />
