Approval Of Memorandum Of Understanding With Foxmoor Property <br />Owners Association For Provision Of A Summer Recreation Program <br />Benton referenced the documentation, and stated that this is an annual <br />request for the provision of a morning summer recreation program; if <br />approved, this will be the program's le year; the program will be conducted <br />at the association's facility and the Westlake Elementary School playfields; <br />and all the direct and indirect costs of the camp will be covered by participant <br />fees. <br />In response to Board inquiries, Benton said that the children to staff ratio is <br />14:1, which is a state regulation, a storage area is provided for the District at <br />the association's facility, and some supplies are transported by staff. <br />It was moved by Lange, seconded by Jacobsen, and carried 5-0 to <br />authorize the General Manager to sign the submitted Memorandum of <br />Understanding with the Foxmoor Property Owners Association and <br />authorize staff to proceed with the implementation of the program on a <br />reimbursed cost basis. <br />C. Adoption Of Resolution Number 060701-A, A Resolution Establishing <br />The Annual Appropriations Subject To The Limitation Set Forth In <br />Article XIIIB Of The Constitution Of The State Of California (FY2001- <br />2002) Gann Appropriation Limit <br />Jorgensen synopsized the intent and requirements of the provision, and <br />stated that District spending is significantly less than the Gann limitation. He <br />recommended adoption of the resolution. <br />
