Board members congratulated team members for their athletic <br />and scholastic achievements, and commended coaches, school, families, and <br />friends for their support. <br />4. Public Hearing — Fiscal Year 2001-2002 Budget <br />Gibson declared the Public Hearing open. <br />As no one was in attendance who wished to address the Board, the Public <br />Hearing was continued to the next regular meeting. <br />8. NEW ITEMS <br />A. Approval Of Memorandum Of Understanding To Regulate Newbury Park <br />Rotary Club's OktoberFest At Conejo Creek North <br />Benton stated that this is an annual request by the Newbury Park Rotary, <br />Sunday, September 9 is the event date, and the Oktoberfest has been held <br />successfully at this location over the past years with no major incidents. She <br />noted the presence of Jeff Losey, event chair. <br />In response to Board inquiries, Benton said that there have been no major <br />incidents in the past. Losey said that most vendors provide most of their own <br />electrical needs, the event will be in compliance with Ventura County <br />
