CONEJO RECREATION AND PARK DISTRICT <br />BOARD OF DIRECTORS REGULAR MEETING <br />APRIL 19, 2001 <br />7:30 P.M. <br />GOEBEL SENIOR ADULT CENTER <br />MINUTES <br />1. CALL TO ORDER AND FLAG SALUTE <br />Vice Chair Jacobsen called the meeting to order at 7:34 p.m., and Director Holt <br />led the flag salute. <br />2. ROLL CALL <br />Directors Present: Holt, Jacobsen, and Lange <br />Directors Absent: Chairman Gibson and Berger <br />Staff Present: General Manager Ward, Administrators Benton, Jorgensen, and <br />Sorensen, and Administrative Secretary Rodriguez <br />3. SPECIAL PRESENTATIONS <br />None <br />4. ITEMS FROM THE PUBLIC <br />Clay Hulett, representing the Conejo Valley Days Committee, distributed materials <br />to the Board and thanked members for their cooperation. <br />Ralph Starita of Thousand Oaks spoke in opposition of the proposed District <br />Assessment and stated that all facts regarding the assessment measure and the <br />State Bond issue proceeds available to the District have not been adequately <br />publicized. <br />5. APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br />It was moved by Holt, seconded by Lange, and carried 3-0, to approve the <br />agenda as presented. <br />
