Board members provided input. <br />Gibson said that the Ventura County Open Space District Advisory <br />Committee is moving forward with vigorous effort. <br />Concluding, he said that he will attend the CSDA (California Special Districts <br />Association) Conference in San Diego, and, on behalf of the District, will <br />accept an innovative programming award for Therapeutic Horsemanship for <br />Individuals with Disabilities. <br />Lange thanked Gibson for his attendance at the CSDA Conference. He said <br />that the first meeting of the ad hoc Placement of Wireless Communication <br />Facilities Committee is scheduled for September 23, and he will attend as <br />District representative. <br />Concluding, Lange said that to facilitate an election for a LAFCO <br />representative, VCSDA (Ventura County Special Districts Association) will <br />use a mail -in ballot, and he highlighted a recent VCSDA meeting. <br />Berger announced that he will not be in attendance at the next Board <br />meeting, and he noted the upcoming Evening on the Conejo presentation at <br />the Stagecoach Inn. <br />12.
