Recreation Division Report <br />Scott reported that registration is going well, staff is preparing for summer <br />programming, and the Concert in the Park series begins Monday, May 27. <br />C. Administration Division Report <br />Relative to the move to 403 Hillcrest, Jorgensen reported that the AS400 <br />system will be moved and DSL installed on Friday, May 24. <br />D. General Manager's Report <br />Ward reported it is anticipated that escrow will close on the Wilbur Road <br />property the week of May 27. <br />E. Directors' Reports <br />In response to Lange's inquiry, Sorensen said that discussions continue with <br />the County of Ventura regarding the transfer of Oakbrook Regional Park. <br />92. REQUEST FOR STATUS REPORTS AND ITEMS FOR SUBSEQUENT <br />AGENDAS <br />13. ITEMS FROM THE PUBLIC <br />Dean Caccavo, Thousand Oaks, said he is a neighbor of Conejo Creek South, and <br />expressed concern about the proposed lighting plan for the soccer fields. He said <br />that the spillover lighting would adversely affect the surrounding neighborhood and <br />he asked that the lighting plan be rescinded. <br />Sorensen explained that the engineering is only 50 percent complete; the planning <br />process is still in progress; in order to inform and involve neighbors, staff is planning <br />upcoming neighborhood meetings, including a video and possible Dos Vientos field <br />trip; spillover does not occur at Dos Vientos; and staff will notify residents using a <br />300 foot radius list. <br />Chuck Huffer said that "SO, Region 9, is the primary tenant of Conejo Creek <br />South, they recognize that they have a responsibility to the neighborhood, site <br />planning is in the preliminary stages, and he requested that neighbors be involved in <br />the process. <br />
