January 10, 2002 <br />Page 3 <br />replacing Gibson; add the Ventura County Regional Open Space <br />Advisory Committee to the roster of Board committees, and appoint <br />Gibson as representative to that committee; all other committees and <br />appointments to remain the same. <br />B. Authorization To Execute Documents Necessary To Conclude Sale Of <br />155 East Wilbur Road <br />Ward provided relevant background information and stated that all applicable <br />code sections were completed, and a full price offer of $1,300,000 submitted <br />by Harrison, Eichenberg and Murphy was reviewed by District consultants <br />Hamner, Jewell, and Associates and found to be complete. <br />In response to Jacobsen's inquiry, Ward said that it is expected that staff will <br />be able to continue to occupy the building pending completion of <br />improvements at 401 West Hillcrest. <br />It was moved by Berger, seconded by Gibson, and carred 5-0 to <br />execute all documents necessary to conclude the transaction for the <br />sale of the District's property located at 155 East Wilbur Road, pursuant <br />to the offer submitted by Harrison, Eichenberg and Murphy and/or their <br />assignee, with the caveat that should any unforeseen circumstances <br />arise relative to the qualification of the buyers or other matters that <br />would materially affect the transaction, the Board will be so advised and <br />requested to take action as appropriate. <br />C. Authorization Of Seasonal Permit For 2002 Baseball Season To <br />Westlake Baseball Association For Installation Of Temporary Fence <br />Scott stated that Westlake Baseball Association has submitted their annual <br />request to install a temporary chain-link fence at Triunfo Park Field #1, and <br />staff recommendation is to grant the request. <br />It was moved by Gibson, seconded by Berger, and carried 5-0 to <br />authorize a seasonal permit for the 2002 baseball season to Westlake <br />Baseball Association for installation of a temporary fence subject to <br />conditions identified in the submitted documentation. <br />
