December 4, 2003 <br />Page 4 <br />It was moved by Holt, seconded by Berger, and carried 4-0 to <br />authorize the General Manager to award a contract in care of Duke <br />Pacific Inc., in the amount of $23,710 plus 10 percent ($2,371) to be <br />held as contingency funds for unexpected occurrence, for the repair <br />of the Willowbend Picnic Area, Conejo Creek North Park; project funds <br />available from Park Development Fees. <br />9. ITEMS FOR DISCUSSION <br />None <br />10. REPORTS AND ANNOUNCEMENTS <br />A. Santa Monica Mountains Conservancy Meeting Notice And Agenda — <br />November 24, 2003 — No Comment <br />B. City Of Thousand Oaks City Council/Redevelopment Agency <br />Reorganization Meeting Agenda — December 2, 2003 <br />Lange said that Berger and he attended the meeting, and represented the <br />Board. <br />11. DEPARTMENT REPORTS <br />A. Park Division Report <br />Sorensen reported that $150,000 was budgeted for a restroom at Conejo <br />Creek South to be funded through contributions from Conejo Valley Days <br />and Westlake Rotary. The Rotary Club has asked that the District formally <br />request from Conejo Valley Days Corporation $40,000 which has been set <br />aside for construction of the restroom, in order to expedite the project, and <br />District correspondence will be forthcoming. <br />In response to Lange's inquiry, Sorensen said that the current focus of the <br />McCrea Ranch project is street improvements. <br />Gibson suggested that Thousand Oaks Rotary be informed of Conejo <br />Valley Day parking issues. <br />B.
