Approval Of Agreement With Conejo Valley Historical Society <br />Ward stated that during the past twenty-four years, the Board has approved <br />separate one-year addendums to the overall master agreement with the <br />Historical Society, and staff recommendation is approval of the agreement. <br />Historical Society has also delivered their annual report and copies have been <br />provided to the Board. <br />Ward confirmed Lange's information that the District provides fire insurance on <br />the structure and Historical Society carries policy on contents of structure. <br />It was moved by Gibson, seconded by Berger, and carried 5-0, to <br />authorize the General Manager to execute the submitted one-year <br />agreement with Conejo Valley Historical Society for the period of July 1, <br />2003 through June 30, 2004. <br />B. Public Hearing — Adoption Of Resolution Number 061903-A, Confirming <br />Diagram And Assessment And Ordering Levy For Fiscal Year 2003-04 For <br />LMD 62-1 <br />Sorensen reviewed minor changes to Preliminary Engineers Report approved <br />by Board May 15. Changes include an increase of $100,000 in the beginning <br />fund balance, offset by a $100,000 cant' -over project of Borchard Community <br />Park sports field lighting and slight modification of the reserve fund for <br />construction of Conejo Creek Southwest reduced from $140,000 to $100,000 <br />to balance the budget. <br />Sorensen introduced Josh Morris from Shilts Consultants. <br />In response to Gibson's inquiry, Morris confirmed proposed annual assessment <br />amount as $26.30 per Single Family Equivalent Unit and last year's amount of <br />$25.51. <br />It was moved by Gibson, seconded by Bolt, and carried 5-0 to adopt <br />Resolution Number 061903-A confirming the Diagram and Assessment <br />and ordering the Levy of Assessment for fiscal Year 2003-04 for the <br />Conejo Recreation and Park District, that it be read in title only and all <br />further readings be waived. <br />
