Warrants, Exhibits A - B, Total $595,421.59 <br />It was moved by Holt, seconded by Berger, and carried 5-0, to <br />approve the Consent Calendar as presented. <br />7. DEFERRED MATTERS <br />A. Public Hearing — Fiscal Year 2003-2004 Budget <br />Lange declared the Public Hearing open. <br />As no one was in attendance who wished to address the Board, the Public <br />Hearing was continued to the next regular meeting on June 5, 2003. <br />8. NEW ITEMS <br />A. Authorization Of Permit And Memorandum Of Understanding (MOU) <br />For Newbury Park Rotary Club's Oktoberfest At Conejo Creek North <br />Scott stated that Newbury Park Rotary Club has requested use of Conejo <br />Creek North on Sunday, September 14 for its annual Oktoberfest <br />Celebration. She noted that Mike Harrison, event chair, was not in <br />attendance. <br />In response to Lange's inquiry, Scott said that the permit will cover setup, <br />take down, and the event itself. <br />It was moved by Holt, seconded by Jacobson, and carried 5-0 to <br />authorize staff to issue a permit and use the submitted Memorandum <br />of Understanding (MOU) to regulate the Newbury Park Rotary Club's <br />Annual Oktoberfest at Conejo Creek North on September 14, 2003. <br />
