CONEJO RECREATION AND PARK DISTRICT <br />BOARD OF DIRECTORS REGULAR MEETING <br />MAY 15, 2003 <br />7:30 P.M. <br />HILLCREST CENTER <br />MINUTES <br />1. CALL TO ORDER AND FLAG SALUTE <br />Chair Lange called the meeting to order at 7:31 p.m., and Marchesano led the flag <br />salute. <br />2. ROLL CALL <br />Directors Present: Berger, Gibson, Holt, Jacobsen, and Lange <br />Directors Absent: None <br />Staff Present: General Manager Ward, Administrators Jorgensen, Scott, and <br />Sorensen, Park Maintenance Superintendent Marchesano, Recreation Services <br />Manager Wiley, Supervising Park Ranger Kinney, and Executive Secretary Ohren <br />3. SPECIAL PRESENTATIONS <br />Employee Recognition Awards <br />Recipients <br />Robert Broderson <br />Bruce Pace <br />Brenda Coleman <br />Jan Robertson <br />Louise Danielle <br />Matt Kouba <br />Loretta Massie <br />Michael Spoehr <br />Ward welcomed recipients and guests. Staff recognized the recipients, presented <br />overviews of their professional and academic accomplishments, and thanked them <br />for their efforts. On behalf of the District and Board, Ward presented awards to the <br />honorees. Recipients thanked the District for the recognition, and fellow <br />employees for their support. Board members offered their congratulations and <br />thanks. <br />Lange recessed the meeting at 8: 13 p.m. and reconvened at 8:25 p.m. <br />4. ITEMS FROM THE PUBLIC <br />
