Adoption Of Resolution Number 031303-A, Ordering Preparation Of <br />Engineer's Report For Districtwide Assessment District <br />Sorensen provided background information. He stated that the resolution <br />orders the preparation of the annual Engineer's Report, this is the <br />beginning of the budget process of the Assessment District, and staff has <br />ensured public participation by inviting SOPOS committee representatives <br />to take part in discussion groups related to the Assessment District budget <br />preparation. <br />In response to Gibson's suggestion, Sorensen said that staff would prepare <br />a press release to facilitate public awareness in the process. <br />It was moved by Berger, seconded by Holt, and carried 5-0 to adopt <br />Resolution Number 031303-A, ordering the preparation of an <br />Engineer's Report for the districtwide Assessment District; that it be <br />read in title only and all further readings be waved. <br />B. Authorization To Execute Agreement Between City Of Westlake Village <br />And District For Provision And Implementation Of Summer Recreation <br />Program On Reimbursed Cost Basis <br />Scott stated that this will be the 17th year the District has coordinated the <br />very successful program, and it continues to be well received by Westlake <br />Village residents. <br />In response to Lange's inquiry, Scott said that the $3,800 expense listed in <br />the program budget is for medical and liability insurance for all participants. <br />
