She stated that over the <br />past few years, in addition to substance abuse, the Joint Powers Authority <br />has been working on broadening the role of CSAPA to address a broader <br />spectrum of issues affecting children and their families; the proposed new <br />name is Conejo Coalition for Youth and Families; bylaws have been revised <br />to allow for an expanded mission. <br />Gibson stated his support, and noted that the Advisory Committee will meet <br />June 30. <br />It was moved by Berger, seconded by Gibson, and carried 5-0 to <br />approve the name change of Conejo Substance Abuse Prevention <br />Authority to the Conejo Coalition for Youth and Families and the <br />updated and revised bylaws for the Joint Powers Authority. <br />9. Park Division Report <br />Friedl reported that the Federal Bureau of Land Management's wild horse <br />and burro adoption event at Conejo Creek Equestrian Center will be held on <br />July 15-18 and the neighborhood will be noticed; the Banyan Park project is <br />underway, and the Conejo Creek South lights have not yet been energized. <br />B.
